Day 184 or Sundays in My City

This should be called Tuesday in my city but what the heck -- Austin got almost 3 inches of snow!!! (My apologies to my many friends digging out from real snow, but this was a BIG deal here.)

As always, thanks to the magnificent Unknown Mami for hosting this.

This is sure a crazy year. Seems like the entire global climate went through a drastic shift. I hope its not the beginning of another ice age...lol

Spokane was in the mid 50's and sunny. So completely unusual for us this time of year. The weather this year is crazy all over.

Crazy weather is everywhere this year. Was everyone rushing to the grocery store to stock up on supplies? That's what they do here everytime it snows.

I am SOOO jealous. It never snowed the whole 2 years I lived in Austin! We got ice, but that was it. Here in Houston we got a whole inch this year. We skirted the snow that everyone got the other day and missed getting any by a few miles. I was so disappointed. Since leaving Boston, my 4 year old keeps asking when we are going to get snow and she keeps missing out!!

It IS a big deal. When I lived in AZ and it snowed, it was HUGE!

That is crazy that Austin got 3 inches of snow. It's such a little amount compared to here in Cleveland but I can completely understand why it's a big deal. It just has to be so weird! Great pictures though, they'll be one for the scrapbook I'm sure.

lol funny huh that we all got so much snow. at least it hasn't been too cold...a few bad snaps but endurable. i always know a bad winter because our pipes freeze as so much is exposed with our renovation.
