Day 126 or a New Day, A New Year

How do I say thank you for helping me change my life? How do I say thank you for encircling me with a support system that I have never known? How do I say thank you for prayers for health and words of consolation? I don't think there are enough words but here is my global attempt...

Thank you. Merci. Gracias. 谢谢。Dank u. Danke. Grazie. ありがとう。당신을 감사하십시오. Obrigado. Вы.

You are all in my heart and you are a part of my growth. My beautiful friend, bloggy and otherwise, Unknown Mami told me that I could answer John Lennon's question, "And what have you done?" with this blog. I think that she's right. I started this blog to find out who I am right now and where I want to go now, not where I wanted to go when I was 20. Because that's changed. Because I've changed. And I am becoming okay with that day by day. Some days more than others but I am feeling a momentum in my life that I have not had in years.

So today I will spare you my list of resolutions -- it is always longer than it should be. But I will share this. In 2010, I resolve to continue to grow into this 38 year old skin, be a little more proud of that 38 year old, and share her a little more. Thanks for coming by in 2009. I hope to see you in 2010 and hopefully, you'll see a little more of me.

We are on this journey together. Glad i can read your words of wisdom, when i don't always have my own.

I really think each new year is a gift, as we grow older we grow wiser and become more happy with the person who we are. Good luck in 2010!

I started when I had an empty nest, so I can relate to what you're saying. I'm trying to figure it out too and I'm glad to have met you in 2009. Looking forward to getting to know you even better in 2010!

Happy New Year!

Beautiful post today. So well written and sums up what a lot of us are feeling. I hope you don't mean that you are upset at being 38. Imagine how you will feel at 60 or 70 looking back at 38 and wishing that you had embraced your young self!

Wishing you a wonderful and happy New Year!

Just lovely. I write, as you do, to discover myself, and to seek the beauty in the sublime.

Traci,
I write to discover everything. Random. Fragmented. Thoughts. I'm glad YOU write. Although, now I'm thinking stupid Blogger won't update any of my past three posts since my last one, so now I'm writing on your blog because I'm frustrated, but I digress = P

Here's another year of looking at you kid.

39 ain't so bad either = )

Well said. I too am amazed at how much joy my blog has brought me. I too had no idea when I first started how this would all go, but like you I couldn't be happier about it.

I love your resolutions they are things we can all take to heart. Happy 2010!
