Day 236 or Wordless Wednesday -- First Swim of Spring

The water is ice cold but they don't care. Aaah, to be a kid again! If you want to join the (almost) Wordless fun, go over to 5 Minutes for Mom to add your pics!

Ah. I love to remember the days of the simple pleasure of those tiny swimming pools. I swear they were better than any water park for my little ones. Even with the icy water!

Of course as they grow older...:)

I didn't know you had an indoor pool so lucky!

My four year old has been BEGGING me to drag out the pool. Until the drainage in the backyard is fixed and the swamp has been corrected, I can't do it! The smell of rot and the bugs are too much for me!!

The raccoons ate our pool last year. :( I guess I will need to buy the kids a replacement soon. It's much colder here than it is for you guys obviously so I think I have another month or two.

The kids look happy!

That brings back a lot of fond memories. Why is it that temperature matters not to children? I used to go wading through creeks after the first thaw when I was that age.

They look supremely happy. And very adorable.

Waaah! Can I come over?

We were just talking about that the other day. The water up at camp was SOOOOOO cold we would lay down in the freezing cold spring, then jump into the creek.

Have a great Earth Day!

Great pictures! It looks like so much fun, but cooold! I remember when I was little I would stare at the outdoor thermometer willing it to hit 65 so we could go swimming. That's crazy! Today at 65 I'm wearing a sweatshirt unless the sun is really shining.
